This yearly festive celebration honors the birth, life, and parinirvana of Great Teacher (Shi A Bon Sa), Shakyamuni Buddha (Sogamonibul). The WLHZ community will also conduct a profession of vows service for two Haengja (Deacon) Yeon Deok and Yeon Gong, as well as a number of Lotus Root Training students who have requested to take the Three Refuge and Five Precepts Vows. The sangha is lookingforward to participating and witnessing this joyful and meaningful event. The service begins at 10:00am, and includes a reception at 12:00pm. Located at the Historic Axe Factory building in Collinsville, Connecticut.
