Eduardo Barrios, Venerable Shim Bo (Sacred Heart) 심보스님, President – In addition to serving as Abbot and Spiritual Director of WLHZ and Buddhist Chaplain at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, Venerable Shim Bo (Eduardo Barrios) practices right livelihood as a graphic design professional. He offers clients thirty years of experience in crafting and executing principled branding campaigns and marketing communications. Chuck Joseph III, Treasurer – Chuck Joseph III is President of Joseph Family Markets, owner and operator of the ShopRite of Canton.  Chuck has twelve years of experience in the supermarket industry and is an active participant at Wakefern, ShopRite’s Cooperative Headquarters, and food industry share groups. Prior to entering in the supermarket industry, Chuck was a high school teacher instructing students in Theology, Philosophy, World Religions, and Ancient History. Chuck volunteers as Chairperson of the Board of Copper Beech Institute, a mindfulness education center.

 

Kathleen Taylor, Secretary – Kathy Taylor has an extensive background in both Corporate and Commercial Real Estate, which includes property management of office buildings in Hartford and shopping centers in the States of Connecticut and New York. Presently, Kathy is the Property Manager for the former Collins Company factory buildings in Collinsville, consisting of twenty-six buildings over nineteen-plus acres. Kathy is a Past President of CREWCT (Women in Commercial Real Estate). She serves both as managing director of Collinsville Downtown Merchants and Historian for the Town of Canton, CT. Kathy is a long-time Notary Public and Justice of the Peace.
