Spring Zen Retreat Day 2025
PRACTICING HEALTHIER EATING
In Buddhist practice, mindfulness of food and its consumption is an important practice. Healthful
eating sustains the body and mind for the purpose of cultivating wisdom and compassion.
Unfortunately, today we are exposed to, and consume, processed foods which lead to ill health
and disease. Join us as we explore the teachings on Buddhist practice with food. Learn how to
make healthier food choices, prepare tasty meals, practice moderation, and to support one
another on the journey. Day Includes: Bowing/Chanting • Sitting Meditation • Walking Meditation
• Group Lunch (provided) • Dharma Talk/Sharing. Mats, chairs and cushions will be available, or
bring your own. Please dress comfortably and respectfully.
